Administrative Coordinator - John Ross Insurance

As the Administrative Coordinator, you will be organized and highly detail-oriented. The Opportunity: 

As the Administrative Coordinator, you will be organized and highly detail-oriented. The ideal candidate will have aLevel 1 insurance license or must be willing to obtain one within 3-4 weeks ofthe start day. You will play a pivotal role, providing support in various administrative tasks, keeping daily operations running smoothly in the office. This position is full-time and based out of our office in Vancouver.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Front Desk reception, including greeting clients, answering phone calls, and emails
  • Managing office supplies and inventory
  • Courier and distribute incoming mail
  • Assist with bookkeeping tasks
  • Process payments and update TAM (agency management system)
  • Service ICBC & Private Auto Insurance Clients
  • ICBC batching
  • Performing various insurance related transactions
  • General administrative duties including, data entry, filing, document preparation
  • Miscellaneous tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Must be willing to obtain a Level 1 Insurance license if you donot currently have a valid Insurance License
  • Level 1 License must be obtained within 3-4 weeks of start date
  • Proven experience in an administrative and customer service role
  • Proficiency using computerized systems for administrative tasks
  • Knowledge of clerical and office management
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) skills and detail-oriented
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible in dynamic environment.
  • Possess superior organization skills and takes initiative

Compensation

$36,000 - $40,000 annually
